What all would I have to buy to make my top link on my 4110, Hydraulic operated, and would it be a difficult project? Thanks.
Bob Jones

Talk to the nice folks at Carter & Carter. I bought my top & tilt kit from my JD dealer, but if I had wanted HTL only I would have bought it from C&C. If you want to maintain full use of your FEL you'll need an electric valve kit. Not real complicated but will be a few bucks. ....

My dealer installed a Gearmore top n' tilt kit, complete, for $1100.

I already had the power beyond kit installed and it hooks right to it. ....

Thanks
Well I guess I won't be getting a hydraulic setup. I'll try again later. I really didn't need it, I just wanted to have all the goodies on my new Tractor. I've had more fun with the 4110, but once you get one it seems like you want a larger one. There is so many things I want to buy my wife is starting to worry that I'm in my second Childhood,I'm probably a pain in the neck, I'll try to not tie up the Board Thanks Again!

Hi Bob,
I just wanted to touch base on that hydraulic top link. I had one made for my JD4200 and I didn't pay no $1100. I got the cylinder from Northern Tools. And I got the swivel ends and the hydrualic hoses at tractor supply. I had the ends welded to the cylinder and I put the hoses on and you are off and running. I didn't pay no 1100 on it though. I probably got about $175 in it. And what a difference it helps in and around the house in doing your jobs. It's a God send. Hope this helps you out. jd ....

JD,
Thanks for the information, I'm not the best Fabricator, and I probly don't understand about where you tie in the hoses and what lever operates the Cylnder and when can you release the hoses or do you? Any advice is surely appreciated.

Bob.... I agree, I think he sorta forgot the part about needing a valve and other controls.

The price I told you was for top AND tilt..... a top only would be a bit cheaper. ....

Hi Bob, I thought you had the the hydrualic control and the outlets already. Sorry for the mess up. You should go to your JD dealer and have them put a control valve and outlets on your tractor for you. My dealer did mine for me when I bought the tractor from them. I'm not sure what the cost was though but any rate what a difference it makes on you. Especially when hooking implements up and controlling them also. Hope this sheds some light on the subject. JB ....
